The Agonist (El Agonista) is a cultural, educational and community platform that transforms an autobiographical experience into projects, experiences and programmes for building new ways of seeing difference.

What is The Agonist?
The Agonist grew out of a personal story that moved beyond the screen. Today, that experience expands into conversations, workshops, installations and actions that explore what a body can do and what we can transform when we encounter one another.
Every body invents its own way of moving.

It is not about adapting anyone to the same old game. It is about inventing a new one.
We believe in art and encounter as tools for opening up questions, transforming perspectives and building new ways of living together.
